De 1987 a 1992: lo mejor de la música Dance
Sin duda alguna a finales de los 80 y principios de los 90 la
creatividad de la música Dance alcanzó su etapa dorada, gran cantidad de
tendencias musicales compartían escenario tanto en discotecas como en
emisoras de radio.
La evolución de estilos como el Italo Disco daban lugar a sonidos como
el Euro Dance; en Chicago nacía la música House y Europa creaba su
propia versión de esta tendencia basándose en las infinitas
posibilidades que ofrecía un "instrumento" llamado sampler; la música
New Beat con sus sonidos metálicos evolucionaba hasta convertirse en el
sonido Techno o Rave y muchas de estas tendencias casi convivían con el
Pop Dance que la factoría de productores PWL (Stock, Aitken, Waterman)
creaba con una facilidad insultante.
En un esfuerzo sin precedentes Blanco y Negro Music ofrece esta triple
recopilación como claro ejemplo de esta diversidad de estilos. El álbum
contiene temas de Kylie Minogue, Rick Astley, Technotronic, Todd Terry,
Rozalla... Éxitos como "Tom's Dinner" de DNA Feat. Suzanne Vega, "Ritmo
De La Noche" de Mystic (Nº1 en ventas de maxis durante casi todo el año
1990) o producciones de Stock, Aitken & Waterman para artistas como
Jason Donovan, Sonia, Lonnie Gordon o Mandy Smith, además se incluyen
tracks nunca antes recopilados en formato digital de artistas como
49ers, Hithouse, S-Express, Confetti's...
La mayoría de los temas se recopilan además en formato maxi para
recuperar la mágia de las versiones extendidas que sonaban en las
discotecas. Más de la mitad de temas, versiones o remixes que contiene
este álbum no han sido publicados previamente en otros disco similares
en formato CD. Un álbum de lujo para amantes y coleccionistas de la
